Microsoft Secretly Developing Touch Screen DJ Technology

Is this the future of DJing? Of course not. I think Touch Screen technology looks difficult to operate and secondly it will be more expensive than a pair of Pioneer CDJs, and as a result common people won't but it.
I discovered that Microsoft wants to enter into the DJ world, and they are planning to make new products for this segment of the population. Below, you can watch a video in which a man is testing a  touch screen DJ software by Microsoft. You will notice it is still in early development, and honestly, it sucks! You may call me old-fashioned but I don't like it.

Disclosure Upload A New Track Online For Fans To Stream

The duo have uploaded new song "Apollo" to their official SoundCloud page, following the release of their debut album 'Settle' earlier this year. The song does not appear on their first collection, making it the first piece of new music from the act since June.

Disclosure have officially released  "Help Me Lose My Mind" as their new single in the UK this week, which feature guest vocals from London Grammar's Hannah Reid.

They were forced to pull the accompanying music from YouTube earlier this month after complaints that it glamorised the abuse of illegal substances.

Disclosure debut album 'Settle' has been nominated for this year's Electro WOW Music Awards, with the winner to be announced in December.

Ron Jason & Kim Ann Foxman - E

Love Fever, the infamous and erogenous East London discotheque and record label returns with some late night works in the form of Ron Jason and Kim Ann Foxman's 'The Dream Project EP'. Lead track "E" got a modern bassline chugging below analogue synth lines and Kim's individualistic approach to vocals. With water droplets and sexual intensity harking back to early 90s!

DJ Ron Benjamin - The Peace March

DJ Ron Benjamin has gained a good reputation not only as a skilled Techno DJ but also as a producer. A few hours ago, he uploaded his new song entitled "The Peace March". This time I want to show all my readers his talent as a composer that creates music.

We have knowledge that Martin Luther King's 'Dream' speech has been sampled hundreds times by many EDM artists. The difference is that "The Peace March" by Ron Benjamin is unique and original, as it encompasses the deeper side of Techno like never before in the world of music!

Man Detained When Police Think Candy Is Meth

A New York man's lawsuit alleges he and a friend were detained by police who mistook Jolly Rancher candies for crystal meth.
Kenneth Smith, a lawyer for Love Olatunjiojo, 25, filed a federal lawsuit Oct. 15 alleging false arrest, illegal search and seizure and false imprisonment after his client and a friend were detained for 24 hours in June, the New York Daily News reported Monday.
Smith said Olatunjiojo and his friend purchased a handful of Jolly Rancher hard candies at the It'Sugar candy emporium in June and they were stopped a few blocks away by officer Jermaine Taylor. Taylor, who wrote in the criminal affidavit he had professional training in identifying methamphetamine, wrote he believed the candy to be narcotics and a field test yielded a "positive" result.
However, further tests concluded two days later the objects were candy, not drugs.

The directing duo have brought together a terrific cast of over thirty people and magnificently spliced together their different stories.

DJone & DJix 'Sunrise' EP Review

DJone & DJix 'Sunrise'Super talented Serbian producers DJone & DJix present their latest release on fast rising indie label Digital Killers. Having had several releases on such other indie labels the likes of Maintain Replay, and House Lab both have received sizeable support from many in the industry.

The new EP entitled 'Sunrise' is truly inspired by Europe's number one dance music capital, Ibiza. Capturing that feeling of raving all night and being able to see the dawn of the new day.

With catchy piano hook and sultry vocals, this release is sure to make even the veteran clubber wish they where back on the magical white isle. Alright boys and girls! Here's a short review of all remixes featured on the 'Sunrise' EP.
2 - Sunrise (House Divine's Feeling Sunrise Mix)
House Divine turned the original "Sunrise" into a magical Latin House remix that will turn up the temperature and cause some serious heat on any dance floor! He has also uploaded a music video for this version on their YouTube channel, Watch it above.
3 - Sunrise (Mitch Major Remix) Mitch Major is known for his skills to take the crowd on an exciting trip full of energetic loops. This is a good Tech House remix with steely beats and a tropical/summer grooves.
4 - Sunrise (Plastik Perversion Remix) I'm loving the sounds effects that were applied on this remix. It's of course a House music version that sounds as good as the original.
5 - Sunrise (Rewire Remix) It tends to have a more laid-back feel, and you can feel a great energy during the entire song.
6 - Sunrise (Stanny Abram's Abracadabra Remix)  Shorter and deeper kicks + a fantastic work with the soulful vocals of the original chorus.
In conclusion, ravers and party animals who love Tech House music will have an amazing experience with the whole 'Sunrise' EP by DJone & DJix.

Twitter #Music App Is Dead!

The Twitter #Music iOS app could shut down following an "abysmal" number of downloads. Twitter #Music peaked at number six when it was first launched in April, but its popularity has continued to spiral down beyond the thousand mark.
The move may be a signal of a clean-up at Twitter as it aims to make its business look more attractive with its looming IPO offering on the NYSE.
Twitter #music allows users to discover and listen to tracks based on trends and the artists they follow, although it has received little attention.

Nightclub Toilet Gets Its Own Documentary!

Nightclub Toilet Gets Its Own Documentary!
A lot goes on in nightclub toilets and this Channel 4 documentary will answer the questions bugging both sexes.
Apart from the usual gossiping, I've broken up with a boyfriend in a club toilet before, consoled people and seen people get thrown out.

When it comes to the men, we noticed they never talk to each other and don't even stop to wash their hands.

It was filmed in the UK at a club called JJ Whispers. Customers were not filmed without their permission, and nobody was shown using the toilets. Watch the trailer below.

Stereospread 'Frozen' EP Review

James Hopkins and Sara Snyder aka STEREOSPREAD are an American Electro Pop band, who have released their latest EP entitled 'Frozen'.

It contains music that will definitely capture your attention! I experienced unique sounds on the main original song and I also enjoyed the Progessive House remixes by GrantWho, a dance-genre DJ/Producer with wide experience and whose productions are synonym of commercial success.
Please, read the following review, I am a supporter of their music and want to share with you my thoughts on this fantastic EP.
1- Frozen (Original Mix) - An atmospheric piece of music, soulful vocals, and dreamy melodies perfectly made to relax mind & body. 127 BPM of pleasure!
2 - Frozen (GrantWho Remix Club Edit) This remix is intended exclusively for bars and clubs, it features strong harmony and beats, more aggresive than the original mix, and it features typical trancey sounds.
3 - Frozen (GrantWho Remix Radio Edit) Basically sounds similar as the club version. It maintains extended synthesizer washes and has been modified to be suitable for airplays!
4 - Frozen (GrantWho Remix Extended Radio Edit) One minute longer that's why it's called extended, and is simply amazing, I am hypnotized with the beautiful female vocals.

New Flesh-Eating Zombie Drug Showing Up In America

A new flesh-eating drug called “Krokodil” has started showing up in Chicago as five people in Illinois have sought treatment after injecting the substance.
Medical professionals say it’s only a matter of time before the drug surfaces in other cities.
Many who end up using the drug believe they are getting heroin, however Krokodil is a knockoff made from codeine and either gasoline or butane.
Doctors say the synthetic opiate rots users’ skin from the inside out, starting with green, scaly wounds resembling crocodile skin.
Earlier this month, the drug made an appearance in Arizona and Utah. Krokodil is three times more powerful than heroin at a fraction of the cost.

DJ Romain - Are We Really Sure?

Metro Trax returns with this groovy future classic from DJ Romain. Jackin House music has made a huge comeback across the entire planet, and I'm so happy to be a supporter of this music genre. This tune is rising on the music charts, I hope you will enjoy it! "Are We Really Sure?" starts with a real East Coast, Brooklyn sounding drum loop and a stabbing reverberated bass sound. Slowly introducing the hook and vocals from The Isley Brothers' "Footsteps In The Dark".

Ali Love - Another [Video]

"Another" is a sign of BIG things to come!

Disclosure Pull New Music Video Due to Drug Glamorisation

Yesterday, Disclosure unveiled the music video for their new single "Help Me Lose My Mind". The clip - which comes with a parental advisory - sees a group of twentysomethings taking drugs, clubbing and taking the night bus home.
The video has since been removed by their label PMR Records, with the statement: "As with previous Disclosure videos, it was about the connection of people having a good time.

"Unfortunately the video has received a few comments referencing the use of drugs within the video. PMR feel very strongly against the glamorisation of drugs in any capacity and as such we have made the decision to remove the video."

Artwoork & Makin' Out 'Public Research' EP on Chromoza Recordings

When one comes across a new production talent by chance like Artwoork, it's hard not to take notice. The duo are Jacky Daft Biancofiore and Claudio Cavestro, two young producers from Bari, South Italy who share several things in common, but it is their passion for Deep House and flawless tricks and techniques that caught the attention of Chromoza.
With their debut release on Vulcania Records: 'Check In' EP released in March, this duo are finding themselves at the centre of attention in 2013 yet again.
The 'Public Research' EP is a 2 track release in true Artwoork style being released on all major download stores on 4th November. Teaming up with producer Makin’ Out (Tommaso Greco, also from Bari) "Public Research" is a classic example of their edgy, hypnotic beats merged seamlessly with mysterious vocals that elude the listener into what is actually being said, produce an audio experience that is remnant of a vague broken memory of the lost hours before night turns into day. Perfect for the after, after party.
The second track "Like It" has a more elated vibe, intriguing vocal with an off-beat, driving bassline that bounces around swirling, seraphic synths; retro chord stabs to create a savoir- faire journey. A playful track which demonstrates Artwoork’s blossoming technical production abilities.
The EP includes two remixes, Balearic Records head honcho Corey Romero takes centre stage with his sublime and beautifully crafted Deep Dub remix of Like It.
Luca Elle’s Vocal Shot remix adds a punchy, vivacious House expression, developing the EP into a must have. ideal for opening sets through to the very last hours on any international dancefloor.

Tranzducer, 'Play Onwards' Track-By-Track Review

Anthony Alongi aka Tranzducer is a musician, producer, and engineer from Texas, USA. His music style could be described just as pure Electronica music!

I feel honored to review his upcoming album 'Play Onward', which will be released on December 10th.

This material is a manifestation of Retro-futurism in music. You'll notice timeless tunes and unique sounds which mingle synths, drums,  electric guitar sounds and tropical space beats.

Here's our track-by-track review of the year's most anticipated Electronica album.

1. Rising, Son It is edgy and avant-garde! The largest instrumental song on the album that sounds like a journey through space.

2. Mayflowers Original, dreamy and trippy, it includes some sexy guitar riffs and  sound effects from the nature.

3. Rocky Mountain Hi This is another superb Techno/Electronica track which features a catchy stomping beat and somehow dark.

4. Play Onwards The funkiest song on the album, there is a part that includes a choir of kids that sounds all too similar to Justice's "D.A.N.C.E".

5. Reverse McTwist A tech-dreamscape, Rock music mixed with the Electronica genre. The beats constantly change.

6. Long Island Sound Tranzducer tries to make a cool summer/tropical track with his remarkable music style. The more I listen to it the more that I like it.

7. Secret Circuit One word TECHNO! I'm loving the sound of the hi-hats.

8. Blaze of Glory I think this song is being influenced by Reggae music, and it's cool because it sounds different than the other tunes on the album.

9. Spiral Fluid 90's old school rave sound + ambient music to chill out.

10. Outside Inn The last track is simply lovely, modern Electronica music at its finest!

21-Year-Old Man Humiliated After Being Forced to Dance Daft Punk

Alan Bacon, an university graduate says he was left humiliated after being asked to dance to a Daft Punk song during a job interview at an electronics superstore.

The young man thought working at Currys in Cardiff would be ideal given his love of cameras, and he spent a week preparing for the interview.

But instead of showcasing his skills, he ended up doing robotic-style dancing. LOL!
Currys has since apologised.

It has also admitted that the dance segment of the interview had been a mistake and was not part of its official recruitment processes.

Wattie Green - Love Exchange

Hailing from the backwoods of Tennessee, Wattie Green went from unknown to one of the most recognized names in House Music, virtually overnight. DJ'ing since 99 and only producing since 2004. 'The Gentelmen's Jack EP' contains a good Jackin House tune, I'm currently loving, which is entitled as "Love Exchange".
