When one comes across a new production talent by chance like
Artwoork, it's hard not to take notice. The duo are Jacky Daft Biancofiore and Claudio Cavestro, two young producers from Bari, South Italy who share several things in common, but it is their passion for Deep House and flawless tricks and techniques that caught the attention of Chromoza.
With their debut release on Vulcania Records: 'Check In' EP released in March, this duo are finding themselves at the centre of attention in 2013 yet again.
The 'Public Research' EP is a 2 track release in true Artwoork style being released on all major download stores on 4th November.
Teaming up with producer
Makin’ Out (Tommaso Greco, also from Bari) "Public Research" is a classic example of their edgy, hypnotic beats merged seamlessly with mysterious vocals that elude the listener into what is actually being said, produce an audio experience that is remnant of a vague broken memory of the lost hours before night turns into day. Perfect for the after, after party.
The second track "Like It" has a more elated vibe, intriguing vocal with an off-beat, driving bassline that bounces around swirling, seraphic synths; retro chord stabs to create a savoir- faire journey. A playful track which demonstrates Artwoork’s blossoming technical production abilities.
The EP includes two remixes, Balearic Records head honcho Corey Romero takes centre stage with his sublime and beautifully crafted Deep Dub remix of Like It.
