WTF! A Fur Coat Made From Male Chest Hair?
One company has unveiled the world's first fur coat made from 100% male chest hair. The coat was commissioned by milk drink for men, Wing Co., as a protest against the widespread 'manning-down' of British men, typified by clean-shaven chests and emasculating fashion. The coat, which features over one million strands of male chest hair, took a team of fashion designers over 200 hours to create and carries a hefty price tag of $ 3835.22 USD.

Benny D's Top Ten Tips To Music Industry Success

Benny D's Top Ten Tips To Music Industry Success
Benny D is a man with the knowledge, experience and insight into what it takes to be successful in the music industry. The CEO and producer of London recording studio “Powerstudio” has worked with Amy Winehouse, Plan B, Paloma Faith, Robbie Williams, Eve and Depeche Mode to name a few.

Benny D is also the brainchild of the London Artist Development programme (L.A.D.) - www.londonartistdevelopment.co.uk.

1. Confidence, not arrogance - it is vital that you breath confidence in your performances. There’s nothing worse than watching someone uncomfortable no matter how good they are.

2. Uniqueness, not blandness - be unique and you will go far as long as your quirks match your talent. There are thousands and thousands of people that want to do what you want to do so make sure you stand out from the crowd.

3. Stage presence - goes hand-in-hand with part one. You need to own the stage and make sure that all eyes are on you. This doesn’t mean parading around but instead encapsulating the audience with whatever mood, emotion or feeling the song is representing.

4. Persistence - there aren’t too many acts that haven’t heard the words NO, NOT YET, MAYBE NEXT YEAR so don’t get too disheartened. Some of the biggest acts of all time have been told they are not good enough. Belief is key.

5. Development, craft your act - rarely can anyone say there’s no room for improvement in their act. Work hard, sweat, graft and don’t wait for tomorrow to improve today!

6. Social Media - with the way the Internet has changed the face of music it is crucial you have a good grasp of social media and a good website to represent you and acquire you new fans.

7. Content - ensure that the content on your social media and website is up-to-scratch. There’s only one chance to make a first impression so do not settle for anything less than your best work, your best images, logo etc..

8. Work with great producer/writers, with a track record - it goes without saying that to get results you really need to work with those music industry people that have proven results. All too often I hear of I’ve spent ‘x’ amount of thousands with this producer and ‘x’ amount with this person (all unheard of names). It riles me as the opportunities are there for you to be had. Check out my studio and you will see that top producers are not unreachable!

9. Finance - be ready to pay and invest in yourself, nothing is free , but invest wisely. As above you cannot expect to get anywhere with people that haven’t got a history of success in the industry. You are better to pay for quality and achieve goals than to dabble with sycophants who take your money and claim success. Do your research.

10. Luck - we all need a bit of luck and the music industry is the same. Of course it helps to have contacts and finance but luck really does have its part to play. If you are looking for a recording studio London is awash with great producers and locations and you are welcome to enquire on the Powerstudio website.

NYC Workers Are Clubbing On Lunch Breaks
The lunchtime dance party movement began in Europe, and embodies the Old World idea of not giving a flying shit about what people think of you. NYC workers are now clubbing on lunch breaks. They all go to a place called Lunch Beat. It will cost "around what people normally spend for lunch" (last year it was $12) and include a vegetarian buffet. Attendees must follow the rules: no booze, no talking about work, just dance!

Music Gateway Website Launch Imminent

If you have been keeping tabs on music industry news recently it will have been hard not to notice the attention Music Gateway has received. There is much anticipation and support across the board (including an April feature in Music News) for their much needed global platform which stimulates new revenue from existing masters and makes it easy for everyone to A&R their own projects or for management and labels to tap into new talent and work their roster.

Music Gateway Launches 24th June 2013

"I'm not going to lie, it's been tough! What with the downturn in the global economy, IT development hurdles, investment seeking and a number of barriers to overcome to get the company into this position, it fills me with great pride and joy that we are now ready to fully launch. This isn't some simple brochure website or another social media platform, no, it's got focus, it's functional with purpose, it's simple yet delivers features like file transfers & electronic payments, all geared towards supporting your career development and generating work opportunities for both individuals and companies alike." explains Founder & Managing Director Jon Skinner LinkedIn. Jon spent 26 years in the Music Industry gaining a wealth of knowledge and experience from being a DJ, producer and record label owner to working closely with international artists and running his own independent record store in the '90s hay days.

Music Collaboration

"I was in a good place to bring to the table what I felt, was a much needed business platform and saw a huge gap in the market. Music Gateway was developed by my in-house IT team, not by some outsourced techies trying to second guess what the industry & musicians may want. Music Gateway connects all the creative roles, allowing them to work, get hired, paid and collaborate on the global stage." Jon goes on to explain that there are a host of websites offering a wide range of distribution, social media for music, such as Soundcloud and ReverbNation, licensing / sync portals and other Artist-to-Fan services, all of  which deal with the end recording or end user. What is clearly different about Music Gateway, is that it is strictly Business 2 Business; it provides a service for people during the creative process and a development / project stage for any recording, person or company. "Content is King" Jon states.  The Music Business isn't some sugar-coated industry, it is hard work and to be successful, you need a lot more than just talent. Music Gateway will certainly improve your chances of making the right connections and reward you financially for your hard work. Music Gateway brings the talent to your projects, an A&R vehicle designed to streamline connections in a targeted way, creating secure surroundings and empowering the individual. So whether you are one of the rising stars of the music world, or you have an established career and need a more streamlined way of collaborating with other artists, Music Gateway is your new timesaving friend.

Kraftwerk Start Work On New Album

Kraftwerk Start Work On New Album
Kraftwerk have confirmed plans to release a new studio album.

The German electronic outfit revealed that they have started work on a ninth collection, following their critically-lauded residency at London's Tate Modern earlier this year.

"Now this is done, one to eight," band member Ralf Hütter told The Guardian. "Now we can concentrate on number nine."

Asked if fans could expect the album soon, he replied: "Oh yes. Of course. It's music nonstop!"
Hütter talked about Kraftwerk's new-found freedom to tour the world due to the evolution of technology, compared to their early days of travelling with a hefty dismantled studio.

"Nowadays basically Kraftwerk is a space lab: we can land anywhere as long as we have the projectors and the screens," he said.

Kraftwerk will play a number of European festivals this summer, including Latitude and T In The Park in the UK.

Buy CantStop Alterd Ego on Itunes

Buy CantStop Alterd Ego on ItunesBe on the look out for CantStop because ever since his birth he won't stop!

Born May 21, 1982 in New Jersey, USA. Ever since he turned 16 he began spitting freestyle raps about anybody and everything. Like about life and what goes around, about himself, his friends and the things then went through and did see. First without instrumentals, then on their own mixed beats, recorded themselves from the radio. Because remember this was for the internet age.

He could have reached extreme heights then.. But the hard reality of street life kicked in: He had run ins with the law and even became addicted to drugs & alcohol. But his name wouldn't been CantStop without a reason.

CANTSTOP keeps going, and going, and going .. And won't stop for nothing!

He always kept dreaming and hustling for a "Good Life." A money-worries free life, with the freedom to do what he wants: Free others and lead the way.

Now finally at the age of 30. he's much more serious, and focused one of the things he does for work is touching up model photos making them look better.

"The same counts for rappers is what the girls say cause quote:"He sure looks hot!"

Yes, he's also back in this game called rap, now taught by the streets. With knowledge from: The School Of Hard Knocks! Now it his turn, he got his mind straight, ever since he quieted all drugs and alcohol abuse.

Like he say's best himself:
"I consider my self a creative individual in anything I do. I do not stop following my dreams and goals in life for anybody or anything. Even the drugs and temptations of life can't stop me. This evil devil can't stop me anymore! I'm Back with a vengeance! Your warned!" Even the player haters are whispering already they know, they can not stop what's coming:

M-Positive 'The Motivation Compilation' Album Review

M-Positive 'The Motivation Compilation' Album Review01. Long Time Coming Marcus Parker explodes back from the shadows of despair as he raps about what it was like to make it to the top of the bullpen and be pulled down again because of a past transgression that he had hoped was long behind him. For those out here swimming around in the 'rap swamp' looking for clean lyricists who build up in love rather than tear down in fear...there is always an audience for Parker's kind of rap, be it mainstream or no. "Long Time Coming" is a thematic about that consistent nagging ache inside that something you've done in the past is going to catch up with you sooner or later, but you keep it moving anyway and hope, maybe even pray, that it won't.

02. Motivational Rap Listening to some of the top track burns out here that are considered motivational in the community of positivity, but still pretty hard on the ears, Marcus Parker rapped his way through many naysayers who said he'd never make it in the rap industry without the consistent use of expletives every so many rhyme meters."Motivational Rap" may remind some of us of the “Fresh Prince” days when Will Smith had more OG's listening to him than he did audiences in his own age range. However, it is a short run fresh piece of rhyme with a representative beat about Parker's own earlier days when he finally took his message on the road, making inroads that the major players said couldn't be done.

03. What the “P” for? feat. Bluu Suede Bluu, an American Idol favorite, lived in a pop-driven world that inspired his musical ability and ever since that time, he has mixed his unique sound by incorporating elements from a variety of genres, including Rock, Country, R&B, Neo-Soul, and Hip-Hop. Together Bluu Suede and Marcus Parker collaborate on “music made to move your spirit,” when they boss up the power line meant to encourage you to keep moving forward: ...When they say NO, they really mean “Not yet.” ...

05. Be Yourself If you've heard Big K.R.I.T.'s “Children of the World” with the restricted ratings, chances are you will be able to hardcore roll with this Marcus Parker production of “Be Yourself.” Simplistic in its thought process, this cut goes hard on the truth about chasing the dollar, committing crimes, and womanizing in a motivational lyric without the extra verbal enhancements.

06. Sunday This is as lyrically satisfying and beat-driven as Will Smith's “Summertime,” which was reminiscent of the showcase of cars riding to the park on a Saturday summer afternoon to hang out on the weekends, watching all the 'fly honeys fresh from the beauty salon' and the 'washed and spit-shined rides' on parade.

07. Product of Adversity Talk about “blast from the past,” Marcus Parker's decision to include his older cut “Product of Adversity” in the Motivation Compilation was an excellent idea. It's a lyrical mind tease and slow jam through the thoughts that we all think anyway, but sometimes can't find the words to express, and often when we just want to say “Thank you.” You are appreciated.

12. The Antidote feat. Bluu Suede The Antidote carries with it a jazzy smooth flava wrapped in a no-nonsense truth about the streetwise ways that hold plenty of temptation for those who don't have a lot of options, and whose only way out may be hooked into how much harm and damage they can do and how much loss they can cause. The antidote to the strivings of life is always love and there is nothing on earth that will negate that everlasting truth.

14. Last Time In Last Time, Parker makes use of the snares in a way not unsimilar to the way Boyz2Men did it in “Water Runs Dry.” The mainstream rap market dictates what hits the “big time,” but Marcus Parker is able to translate the same groove and lyrics to the audience by keeping it uplifted and overwhelmingly positive, as well as easy to listen to.

15. Insecure feat. Mr. Mayberry Insecure is a quick-step beat not unlike the sound we might splurge on while listening to acid jazz; without the acid, of course.

Twenty Swiss police were injured and over 60 ravers were arrested when a politically-tinged techno parade in Bern turned ugly. Riot police fired teargas and water cannons at Black Bloc anarchists who wreaked havoc during the unauthorized rally.

This year's Tanz Dich Frei ('Dance Yourself Free') parade, the largest street party in Switzerland in over 20 years, ended with scuffle between security forces and protesters after dozens of masked Black Bloc members tried to break through barricades surrounding the Parliament building.

Later in the night, clashes between police and rioters moved to the station, where garbage cans and ATMs were vandalized. Police estimated the damage caused by vandalism and looting to be several hundred thousand Swiss francs.
Sixty-one protesters were arrested, and some police officers were hospitalized.

The rally's message was quasi-political, with protesters carrying banners with slogans like "Fight for freedom, don't just dance."
