A robot dancing competition has taken place in northeast China, attracting 29 teams from China, Russia, Mexico and South Korea.Read more ffff The competition was divided into nine categories, including solo dance, pas de deux, group dance, ballet, yangge, street dance and folk dance. A pair of giant panda-shaped robots drew attention as they had to move over 20 joints in costumes when they were dancing.
A team from a Mexican University won the first prize for the solo dance category after a day-long competition, while the team from Harbin Engineering University won four prizes. The other four prizes went to Shanghai Jiaotong University, St. Petersburg National University and Fujin No.3 Middle School.
