New York House DJ Danny Tenaglia has dramatically announced he is pressing pause on his career. The 51-year-old club legend and Grammy-nominated producer who had residencies in the 90s at New York’s biggest megaclubs Twilo, Tunnel and the Roxy, said he is resigning and left a farewell message on his Facebook page Tuesday that shocked the electronic-music world. “I have seen the mountaintop as a DJ and I just need to STOP and smell the roses of my life and simply try to Grow Up and BE who I really am. I know many people think I am wealthy, but I am not! I have lived well and have very nice things to show for my earnings, but I cannot stop working!”
