First Electronic Music Cruise Of Its Kind Ready To Sail

One of the biggest dance fests ever planned for the high seas kicked off yesterday in Fort Lauderdale, and organizers have promised a lively event. The first of its kind Holy Ship! music cruise, as it's being called, features more than 20 top DJs who are hyped into making it a whole adventure and not just playing a set and hiding out. Announced in June of 2010, the 3-Day Cruise aboard the MSC Poesia, a 93,000-ton luxury cruise liner, features everything from a DJ-led poker tournament to yoga classes.

Organized by three leading event planners: Richards' Hard Events, the Bowery Presents and Cloud 9 Adventures. Famous DJs invited to this unusual event are Fatboy Slim and former Motley Crue drummer Tommy Lee. During the voyage the ship will make a stop at a private island in the Bahamas for a beach party. Other DJs taking part in the event include Laidback Luke, Diplo, Rusko, A-Trak, Steve Aoki and Skrillex. Tommy Lee will be also appearing with DJ Aero.
